Abstract
    A new species of Bryothinusa Casey is described as B. chengae, Type locality: Carp Island Pier, Palau, Caroline Islands). Types and paratypes of the new species are desig- nated. Illustrations of diagnostic features are provided. The differences between members of B. chengae Ahn and B. papuensis Haghebaert are presented.
