Abstract
Spondylus spinosus Schreibers, 1793 is a lessepsian bivalve. A lot of molluscs can live fixed on its surface or using it only as a support. Nineteen species of molluscs from Mediterranean origin and sixteen lessepsian invasive molluscs are reported on about 20 Spondylus coming from the Gulf of Iskenderun (Turkey, Mediterranean Sea). The case of Amathina tricarinata (Linnaeus, 1767) is discussed.
