Abstract
Ergalatax sp. (ex Morula martensi Dall, 1923) was sporadically found in some places in the South of Cyprus Island. This note reports a sampling performed in May 2007 in the Karpas peninsula. It shows, at the present time, the presence of a strong settlement of this species in the North of Cyprus. The distribution area of this Ergalatax covers today the entire North-East and East area of the Mediterranean Sea.
