Abstract
    This article provides a report of the field trip made by the Belgische Strandwerkgroep (a Belgian Society for marine life study) to Northumberland between 16 and 22 April 2011. In total some 255 species were observed on sites ranging from Alnmouth Bay to Coldingham Bay. Combined with the field trip in 2000, we have observed 365 species in this area that is classified as a European Marine Site (EMS).
