Abstract
Intended as a reference work for students, biologists, naturalists and above all lovers of the sea, this guide is a complete catalogue of cetaceans worldwide. The reader will find a mine of information on the lifestyle and biology of each of the 88 species listed, mainly the description, food, reproduction, longevity, observations in the field and predators. All the species have a drawing of the animal and sometimes photos.
