Abstract
    Several records of exotic Strombidae recorded from localities in the Mediterranean Sea but not mentioned in Van Gemert (2006) are listed. None or these species seems to have established a foothold in the Mediterranean except Conomurex persicus which is now a very common species in the Eastern Mediterranean.
