Abstract
    The present note is devoted to the detailed study of meandroid Goniastrea including the holotypes of Goniastrea pectinata (Ehr.) and Goniastrea benhami Vaughan. It is based on elaborate morphological and biometric observations of the various skeletal parameters. It is completed by a statistical approach of the population of specimens.
