Abstract
The author studies three fossil Teleosts erroneously attributed to the family Osteoglossidae, Cearana from the Upper Cretaceous of Brazil, Eurychir from the Upper Cretaceous of the United States, and Genartina from the Eocene of England and of the United States. The first is probably a Gonorhynchiform. The second belongs to the family Megalopidae. The third is synonymous of Osmerus.
