Abstract
Identification of Oxyloma sarsiw/i> is confused by the similarity of its shell to those of other succineid species. In this paper, morphological criteria (shape, colour and size of the shells (measurements), the reproduction system and the structure of the radula) for identification of O. sarsi are reconsidered. New data dealing with morphological identification of O. sarsi are presented: body pigmentation, the shape and size of the ‘jaw’, and the parameters of the reproductive system (length of the vagina and oviductus).
