Abstract
Amathina tricarinata, an enigmatic limpet-like marine gastropod from the Indo-Pacific, including the Red Sea, is here reported for the first time from a locality along the Mediterranean coast of Israel: Shiqmona. Living populations of this Lessepsian migrant were already known from the Mediterranean Sea off Lebanon and Turkey since 2000.
