Abstract
Egg capsules containing juvenile gastropod specimens were collected in Andalusia in shell grit in the surroundings of Tarifa (Spain). Close examination reveals that these egg capsules belong to Mitrella bruggeni (Columbellidae) as confirmed by the juveniles they contain. The capsules are described in detail for the first time. This was also the opportunity to highlight the differences existing in shell morphology between two sympatric Mitrella species: Mitrella bruggeni and Mitrella broderipi.
