Some specimens of Gibbula nivosa A. Adams of Giorgi's malacological collection, which is kept in the Museum of Natural History of Milan, have been labelled by Monterosato in synonymy with Gibbula spratti (Forbes). The Author outlines the story of this interesting endemism of Malta and confirms the specific validity of Gibbula nivosa, which may still be found alive around the coasts of this Island. |
