Abstract
This is a review and revision of this popular family of marine gastropods based on the conchological characteristics of the shells. This study is based on the examination of more than 5000 shell specimens which compromise 98 species in all and are divided into 18 Genera and Subgenera. It is a wonderful book and should please those that specialize in collecting these beautiful and diverse shells as well as the general population of shell collectors.
