Abstract |
The current review assessed the status and distribution of the Northern Stone Crab Lithodes maja in Irish and UK waters. The species has rarely been recorded southwards of latitude 55°N. The southernmost authenticated record of L. maja from the NE Atlantic was recently recorded from the North West Bank (50.11°N, 08.59°W), S Celtic Sea, c.190 km SSE of Cork Harbour, Ireland. |
