Abstract
Crambines C1 [3] and C2 [4] are two new ichthyotoxic guanidine alkaloids isolated from the Mediterranean sponge Crambe crambe. Their structures have been determined on the basis of their spectral properties. Biogenetically they are closely related to crambines A [1] and B [2], which had been isolated previously from the same sponge.
