Abstract
Cerithium egenum, a small Indo-Pacific species is here reported for the first time from three different localities along the Mediterranean coast of Israel (Table 1). Follow-up studies are needed to show whether this Lessepsian migrant has managed to establish a permanent foothold in the Eastern Mediterranean.
