Abstract
A new trochid species, Umbonium eloiseae, is described, collected at Masirah Island, Sulsanate of Oman. Its colour pattern varies less than that of the other Indian Ocean species, U. vestiarium and its external anatomy resembles that of the tribe Bankiviini.
