Abstract
Acoustic behaviour of Russian sturgeons Acipenser gueldenstaedti was studied. Fish sounds of 5 types were recorded during induced maturation. The number of signals produced by fishes depends upon the state of fish readiness to spawn and their numbers. While emitting sound signals by the transducer responses of fishes were observed.
