Abstract
17 alpha ,20 beta -dihydroxy-4-pregnen-3-one (17 alpha ,20 beta -DP)-binding activity was solubilized and partially purified from isolated cortices of goldfish oocytes. Several major protein bands (95, 66, and 57.5 KDa) were identified by SDS-PAGE. Interestingly, the solubilized 17 alpha ,20 beta -DP-binding activity bound to a wheat germ agglutinin (WGA)-lectin affinity column.
