Abstract
Greenback flounder were treated with either LHRH-a, pimozide (PIM), or LHRH-a + PIM. Co-treatment with LHRH-a + PIM did not improve the efficacy of LHRH-a in inducing ovulation, nor did it augment plasma levels of testosterone (T) and 17 beta -estradiol (E sub(2)) above levels reported in fish treated with LHRH-a alone. These results suggest that DA may not have strong inhibitory action on GtH release in greenback flounder.
