Abstract
In this paper, we present the production of recombinant striped bass (Morone saxatilis) LH and FSH as well as LH beta and FSH beta subunits. These proteins were produced in CHO-K1 cells using the pcDNA3.1/zeo+ vector. We confirmed the presence of the LH by Western Blot and ELISA and show that this protein is glycosylated. We detected the presence of the FSH in Western Blot by cross reactivity with the anti LH beta . Both recombinant hormones are biologically actives.
