| Abstract |
The identification of the five species of hunters that can be seen more or less on a regular basis in our regions is considered only moderately in the literature. However, there are reasons enough to have a closer look at the field characteristics of the hunters. They are very much alike and the number of changes in attire and individual variations are only outdone by certain groups of birds of prey. On top of that they are usually only spotted in bad weather and light conditions. This book, which is based on years of studying of the hunters, in the field, in the musea and in pictures, provides an answer to many questions and enters into great detail on the characteristics of the species the Middle Hunter, the Great Hunter and the Antarctic Hunter. |
