Abstract
August: month of harvest. People, loaded with buckets and cups, head for the dunes. Who grew up in the dunes, knows what they are looking for: breams. Light blue riped, juicy breams. It takes an effort to fill the buckets, but it’s well worth it. What could be better than opening a jar of home made bream marmalade in winter time, from which the sent brings back the memories of a well spent summer day? Such a day in which the dune seemed a treasure island, filled with only breams: elderberries, rose-hip, all eatable and poisonous berries one can think of, more than one can name.
