Abstract
    The arcturid isopod genus Neastacilla is rediagnosed and eight new species from Australia (Neastacilla coonabooloosp. nov., Neastacilla kanowna sp. nov., Neastacilla lawadi sp. nov., Neastacilla marrimarri sp. nov., Neastacilla soelaesp. nov., Neastacilla tarni sp. nov., Neastacilla tharnardi sp. nov. and Neastacilla yuriel sp. nov.) are described. Fivespecies from Australia and New Zealand are rediagnosed. A key to differentiate Australian and New Zealand species ispresented.
