(Annelida: Polychaeta), is described from southern Chile. The new species was recorded from the Strait of Magellan (52°S) south to the continental slope of the Drake Passage (56°S). This new species is distinguishable from other species of the subgenus by only having capillary setae on postbranchial segments.
