Leptolaimus alatus sp. n. is distinguished by the number of preanal tubular supplements. L. minutus sp.n. has cephalic setae but no papillae or preanal tubular organs. L. timmi sp.n. is different to the other spp in size, the measures of amphids and cephalic setae and the presence of 10 or 11 tubular supplements. The genus Leptolaimoides gen.n. is established for Leptolaimidae forms that differ from Leptolaimus by very elongated amphids; 2 spp; Leptolaimoides thermastris (Lorenzen, 1966) nom.n., without preanal supplements and L. tubulosus sp.n. which has tubular supplements are described and a key to the spp of Leptolaimoides given.
