Abstract
This work is an histological study of germinal cells from ovogonial stage to mature oocyte. Measures of cytoplasm, nucleus and nucleolar structure diams, combined with a description of nucleic acids, proteins, glucids and lipids modifications, permitted us to characterize several phases in the evolution of the female sexual cell. Vitellogenesis is marked, besides other traits, by deposition of reserves: small glycoproteid granules, yolk globules made of proteids, of lipids and of glucids and small lipid globules. Some indications on the respective localization of these 3 categories of materials and on the respective timing in their deposition are given.
