Abstract
In S. canicula. The apical cytoplasm of Sertoli cells contains, at the end of spermiogenesis, a voluminous and homogeneous inclusion, the problematic body. When spermiation occurs, the apical cytoplasm, which is deciduous, gets free and carries away problematic body and spermatozoa in the ductili efferentes. Study of this sertolian inclusion, by histochemical methods, shows that it is a protein secretion, rich in lysin, cystein and tryptophan.
