Abstract
An analysis is presented of 1,400 benthonic polychaete worms (Annelida) collected from the bottom of the sea, 3m deep, on a rocky shore of Banjole Island, near Rovinj (Yugoslavia).55 spp are identified, some of them are rare e.g. Acrocirrus frontifilis (Cirratulidae); others have a certain interest as regards morphological variability: particularly many forms of syllids, nereids and terebellids. Some remarks are made on those spp and they are compared with other collections from the same area.
