Abstract
In Bassin d' Arcachon, the observation of female with a penis-like outgrowth in O. erinacea, a gonochoristic sp, suggests that the whole or part of the population presents a successive hermaphroditism (Poli, 1973). A systematic investigation of batches gathered during 1 yr in 2 localities (Granville, Basin d' Arcachon) shows that the phenomenon does not appear in Granville; in Bassin d'Arcachon female with a penis-like structure are observed in each sample. The analysis of growth and of sex-repartition shows that the 2 populations follow a similar evolution. Ocenebra appears as a gonochoristic sp in the 2 localities.
