Abstract
Segmental eyespots are studied in two species of Dasychone. Grouped around a common lens, photoreceptor organelles are represented by microvilli which are formed from the plasmic membrane of two or three sensory cells, near one or two centrioles. The rhabdomeric photoreceptors are different from the ciliary ones which occur on the crown of these annelids.
