Abstract
Studies carried out from 1972 to 1978 on populations of Thais lapillus, Nassarius reticulatus and Ocenebra erinacea show variations in the distribution of females with an external male genital system. Abnormal females could be present or not related to the sampling-stations. In some stations, this phenomenon was not observed in 1973 while females with a penis-like structure were present in the same stations in 1978. The rate of abnormal females show also a great variability from 1972 to 1978.
