Abstract
Concentrations of dissolved copper, zinc and cadmium have been measured in the Dutch and Belgian coastal and offshore regions of the Southern Bight (North Sea), with the aim to compare levels in the central, most saline part of the Bight with those in the coastal region that is under the influence of the rivers Rhine and Scheldt, as well as with those in open ocean surface waters.
