Abstract
Some species of marine Tardigrada have been found in two submarine caves of the Ionic and Tyrrhenian Sea. The species belong, one to Batillipedidae and eight to Halechiniscidae; four of them, Halechiniscus flabellatus, Actinarctus neretinus, A physophorus and Tanarctus longisetosus, are new for science.
