Abstract
    The biological cycle of a population of I. chelipes shows a continuous breeding (four generations a year) with a life expectancy from 5 to 6 months. The linear growth, which cannot be, a priori, combined with a mathematical pattern, is linked with the variations of the surrounding. This growth is faster in the breeding. The production of the population, higher from April to May, is 2.4g/year/100 g of dry prop. The rate of the production (P/B@u-) is high (5.29). The observed P/B of the troops is always weaker, the culture conditions are not representative of the natural environment.
