Abstract
During the 1974 and 1975 summers, the researches into the genetics of populations of Sphaeroma serratum were spread on the coast of "Cornouaille" (Pointe du Raz to Lorient); there, 47 representative samples, gathering 66,387 Sphaeroma, were collected on a part of coast about 160 km long. The analysis of the results corroborates the genetic complexity of the local populations and the polychromatic diversity in the secreened stations in the bottom of bays and on the level of river mouths were there is a higher frequency of signatum and "red". Lunulatum, in particular, and ornatum are well represented, usually to the prejudice of discretum . No constant correlation was noticed in te distribution of frequencies in lunulatum and ornatum on the one hand and in signatum and "red" on the other hand.
