Abstract
Samples of 12,000 polychaetous worms have been studied during a monthly survey (1981-1982) along a transect of four stations in the continental shelf sediments in front of Arcachon Basin (Atlantic coast of France). Means of samplings are given using different dredges and grabs. The results for each station are detailed: numbers and names of families and species, abundance and frequency. About 36 families are recorded and 140 species are listed, some of those new for this Atlantic zone.
