Abstract
    As part of a quantitative study on the meiofauna, the author establishes the following relationship between length and dry weight for free-living marine nematodes: Log P ( mu g) = 2.470848 Log L ( mu m) - 7.96632. The energetic equivalent (5.2341 cal/mg. ash free dry weight) as well as the contents of carbon (51.03) and organic nitrogen (13.74) were also determined.
