Abstract
The rocky intertidal population of Polydora ciliata at Boulogne-sur-Mer is geographically isolated. This study shows that the residual flow in the English channel allows the transport of larvae. The authors observed that a population situated 70 km to the south influences the recruitment of the Boulogne-sur-Mer intertidal population.
