| Abstract |
Faunistic study of the cheilostome Bryozoa from southern Spain, specially from the strait of Gibraltar and nearby zones. The authors identified 75 species, 52 of which were not cited for Andalousian coasts, and 2 are new for Iberian coasts: Puellina setosa and Escharella hexaespinosa. The last one and also Chartella papyracea, Callopora rylandi and Escharina johnstoni are new for the Mediterranean Sea. Cribrilaria venusta is cited for the first time for the Spanish coasts. They redescribe those 6 species and also Escharella rylandi. |
