Abstract
    The influence of the temperature on the embryonic development of the cuttlefish Sepia officinalis is described. The dry weight of embryos is measured during their development. Growth of embryos, yolk utilization and yolk conversion are estimated. The influence of temperature on yolk utilization is discussed, in purpose to establish the optimal temperature for the cuttlefish development. At last, some stages of development are described and enable us to precise the influence of temperature on their sequence.
