Abstract
    The fascigera forms of Hippolyte varians (Leach) are found in different proportions on the Swedish west coast with its variable temperature and salinity throughout the year and the Faroe Islands with a very stable temperature and salinity. In Sweden 11% of the males are found to exhibit.
