Abstract
Six species of the genus Disporella Gray, four of them new to science, are fully described: Disporella hispida (Fleming) (a neotype is designated for it), D. piramidata sp. n., D. robusta sp. n., D. zurigneae sp. n., D. smitti (Calvet) and D. alboranensis sp. n. Other specimens from other regions in the world are briefly comented. The valoration of the features with a taxonomic interest allow us to say that the more important are: the disposition and anatomy of the peristomes and alveoli, the situation and form of the pustules of calcification and spine-shaped processes, and the extension of the brood chamber, as well as the location of the ooeciostone on it. Lastly, a key for the identification of the species on the European coasts is provided.
