Abstract
Seven pilargid species are recorded from Uruguay and Argentina coasts, based on materials collected by hand and dredged. The recorded species include representatives of the two subfamilies; Synelminae: Parandalia tricuspis (Mueller), Synelmis cf. acuminata Wolf, and Pilarginae: Ancistrosyllis groenlandica McIntosh Cabira incerta, Webster, Pilargis berkeleyae Monro, P. cf. maculata Hartman, and Sigambra tentaculata (Treadwell). Synonyms, diagnostic features, distributional data and illustrations are provided for each species.
