| Abstract |
A hydroid community comprising Bimeria vestita, Sarsia sarsii, Tubularia crocea, Rhizogeton nudum, Clytia gracilis, Obelia longissima, Halecium beanii, H. delicatulum, Sertularella mediterranea, Plumularia setacea was studied. The species were collected in the intertidal fringe of Mar del Plata (Argentina). Monthly analysis of specific abundance and presence of gonophores were carried out. The results revealed different hydroid groups: Tubularia crocea is present all the year round, always with gonophores; B. vestita, S. sarsii are present with gonophores in summer....; others species of this familyare present in summer without gonophores. |
