Abstract
    To investigate the dynamics of the salinization phenomena in the East-Frisian coastal area near Wittmund water samples between 5 and 300 m depths, above and below the fresh-/salt-water interface, have been taken. Besides oxygen and sulfur isotope ratios have been determined. Together with goethermal measurements the data of those analyses have provided an insight of the salinization process.
