Abstract
The records of the University of Cape Town Ecological Survey have been incorporated with the findings of previous workers in listing the known gammaridean and caprellid amphipod fauna of South West Africa south of 20°S. Eighty-one species are recognized in all. Of these five are presented here as new to science, namely Guernea rhomba n. sp., Eriopisa epistomata n. sp., Eriopisella epimera n. sp., Photis longidactylus n. sp. and Listriella lindae n. sp. A further 26 species are recorded from South West Africa for the first time. References and synonyms are given for all the species and short diagnoses for those not described in Part 1 of this series.
