Abstract
The dissolved Mo and Va contents of 75 surface and subsurface samples from the northeast Atlantic Ocean have been determined. Both elements show very low dispersion about the average values of 10.7 and 1.19 {mu}g 1 -1 obtained for Mo and Va, respectively. Mo determinations on samples from the coastal waters of the Irish Sea support the finding of relative uniformity in the distribution of this element in seawaters.
