Abstract
The abundance and occurrence of the oceanic chaetognaths S. Tasmanica and K. Subtilis was observed in the plankton of Galway Bay, 1972-1973. It is suggested that these animals are recruited with intrusions of open sea water into the Galway Bay area at certain times of the yr.
