Abstract
    This publication is a CD-ROM containing bibliographic citations dealing with all aspects of the Law of the Sea from 1967 through 2002 which would be equivalent to a printed document of over 3,200 pages. Produced by the United Nations Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea (DOALOS) it contains bibliographic citations from more than 5,600 authors writing in some 454 journals as well as books and compendia. The Bibliography is divided into 11 Parts and some 64 sections and subsections. The main subject headings are the following: Law of the Sea - General; Development of UNCLOS; Maritime Zones; Special Maritime Features; Functions, Activities and Responsibilities; Regional Approaches and Cooperation; National Policies and Practice; Coastal Zone Management and Practice; Conflicts and Dispute Settlement; and General Reference Works. The bibliography also contains a list of Authors; a list of DOALOS Sales Publications; a list of DOALOS Bulletins; and a list of Journals Cited. The entire CD is searchable with its own built-in search engine tailored to Law of the Sea terminology.
